It is Thursday - back to Home Depot - time to pick up our counter top. (see a few posts ago.) NOOOOOOOO!!!! This is the third one - and it is broke - again.
The are reordering for - wait - we just got a call from Home Depot . . .
(Long Pause - no really - a loooooong pause - like 1/2 hour - really, I'm not kidding)
Home Depot felt really bad. So they went back and looked around for a while, and they still had the other two broken counter tops that we had taken back. Now the first one only had a broken backsplash. The other two had broken countertops. Ding - the light went on. Since we have all three, we'll take the countertop from the first one, and the backsplash from the last one and - voila - a whole set.
So I went and picked it up. They wanted us to get it tonight "so they wouldn't break it before morning". So now we have it, of course that just means I have to install it, but what the heck - at least we are one step closer to the finale.
No - this is not installed - it is just sitting there.
